  • Known issues with DR + Resumable Rendering with bucket sampler?

    Hi,
Are there and known issues with said combination? I noticed on a scene where buckets get written into the VRIMG relatively fast that if I don't have the other node be there from the beginning but switch it on while the master node is already rendering, the DR node seems to try to catch up in loading the VRIMG which is written relatively fast and fails to do so, being at a constant 8% cpou load and never actually starting to render. The VRay Log says everything is fine, node is connected, received scene etc. Do you know of any issues in that scenario? Using 3ds max 2016 SP4 with V-Ray 3.60.03.
    Software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    3ds Max 2016 SP4
    V-Ray Adv 3.60.04

    Hardware:
    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

I've just tried it and everything was fine. Can you give us some more info?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Sure, what kind of information would help? I can dig out the scene file, strip it a little and send it to you propably some time next week.

If it's still reproducible when it's stripped that will be great. Also, please include the exact steps.

I will not provide a scene for this since it turned out that it may have been an internal issue with our network. If this pops up again in another scene and we can rule out internal issues I will make a new thread. Consider this issue solved/nonexistent.
