  • vray 3.5 vs. 3.6 (noise)

I switched to vray 3.6.03, but the renderings are much noisier than with vray 3.5...

why is this? which parameter I have to tweak to get the same result as with vray 3.5?

    thanks

    best regards

These are either artifacts from GI (IR map or light cache), or artifacts from the denoiser.

Looks more like denoiser. But the images are very different (no textures on one of them) so it's hard to say.

yes they are different, but I have rendered about 40 images and I can tell there is a difference between the vray builds... and yes it's denoised, but you see the difference also like this, and both images are denoised. I have swithed to vray 3.5 and now I have to re-render all images... phuu...
