Hi!
This is my first post on this forum, so please be forgiving
I am working on housing development fly-through animation and have some issues with VRay optimization.
For this moment only moving object is moving camera. For GI I use Brute Force and Light Cache calculated for every frame.
Main goals:
- reduce flickering (still small)
- reduce noise
- optimize rendering time per frame ( now ~10 min)
I use: 3ds Max Design 2015 and V-Ray 3,6
My gear: 2x Xeon E5 2696 v4 (22cores) @2,2 Ghz, 128 GB RAM

I was trying to set AA with Sample Rate and values like 24 was perfect, but render time was very long ~40 min frame.
I am making still some test with different values of noise, but maybe you will have some ideas how to optimize this animation.
To get rid of noise should I decrese noise values in Global DMC or Bucket image sampler?
I locked noise pattern in Global DMC - is this should help stabilize noise?
Please let me know your thoughts.
My settings are in attachment.
Thank you,
Adrian
