  • Frame Buffer Position

    Hi,

It seems that Frame Buffer position is changing every time I press render. Is there something I can do about?

That shouldn't happen. What are 3dsMax and V-Ray versions?
Are you closing VFB window before running subsequent renderings?
Does the same thing happen with Standard Max Frame Buffer?
    What about with Scanline renderer?

      Hi,

I am using vray_adv_36004_max2016_x64, It happens only on one scene. Did not tried Standard FB, will try.

      Did not tried Scanline.

      Thanks for replying.

If it's on specific scene only it's most likely related to something inside it.
If possible send it over for investigation.

I also noticed this when I upgraded from 3.60.03 to 3.60.04 : the VFB would "jump" to a different place at each render.

Unfortunately I can`t send the file. Will try to merge everything in a new file.

            Best,
            George

Good. Let is know if there is improvement when merged.
Another thing you can try is to remove everything from the original scene and see if the issue is still there, if it is send us this empty scene.

                Same questions as before.
Is it reproducible across multiple scenes or tied to particular one?
Does it happen with frame buffer of other render engines?

I'm sorry but I downgraded to 3.60.03 because of the issue described here so I can't test this anymore.
Anyway, the scene attached to my post was created in version 3.60.04 did have that VFB issue and is very simple. So you can try with that one.
