  • shift of texture with vraydisplacement

    I want to make a material with bercontiles and vray displacement. all works fine, BUT if you take the SAME bercontile map in diffuse too, it renders the texture shifted to the displacement. https://c2n.me/3UpROIV.png
    but only in 2D mode in 3D mode it's ok. is this a known problem? is there something I can do to avoid the shifting?

    It's not a problem, It's a limitation of 2D displacement mode.

        Yeah I know. I remember struggling with this for days before I found out it was just not possible in 2d mode It's a pity because 99% of the time I can't switch to 3d mode without killing my render times.
