Proxy with Vray materials

With Vray supporting various DCC packages, I'm a bit surprised Vray proxy still doesn't export material properties.
I understand DCC packages have different material capabilities. But at least exporting Vray specific materials should be on the list.
Vray proxies + (Vray) material export would definitely help in the workflow where different DCC packages are involved.
