  • Tyflow support for Vray metaballs

We all know tyFlow is the best thing since sliced bread and we all look forward to a life of hassle-free particulate fun.

So lets not forget about the Vray metaballs and Tyflow!

PS - Chaos should purchase Tyflow before Autodesk does!

ive already used vraymetaballs with tyflow.. it works fine.. you just need to enable particle interface in tyflow.

now, get me vraymetaballs working in next GPU and we are talking.

I'm simply floored how ridiculously powerful and fast TyFlow is, not to mention the file size is so small! I've been following other peoples work experimenting with this plugin and I'm constantly in awe the potential this plugin has. For example:

It is amazing... although I am having some crashing issues with it rendering objects with Fastsss2 materials... I'm not able to determine why!

super gnu Have you also rendered it successfully? Just tried meshing a grain sim with it and while it looks fine in viewport, I get render artefacts.
i´m using the "use particle size" checkbox, so maybe thats the culprit somehow...

Would also be nice to be able to get maping or particle color from tyFlow, which is also not working yet.

Better not! Autodesk is offering already Indie licenses - Chaos not and is also dropping the support for Vray Next now on Max 2022. I hope Tyson never sells this to anyone.

autodeks has its own visual programming platform (Bifrost) and I don't think I'm interested in Tyflow dedicated to 3ds Max.

Maybe you compare what Tyflow can do and what Bifrost for Max can do... they even are not having similarities of capability. Or in other Words: Tyflow seems working well with PhoenixFD and should get also the Bridge to Bifrost as well! So apples are not oranges... =)
Tyflow is maybe the most powerful Pluggin you can get for Max doing FX.
