V-Ray VFB Buttons are super hard to read - when selected

I am running 3ds max 2018 with the latest V-Ray - and the default max color scheme (dark).

My issue is with the V-Ray VFB buttons. At least a third of the small buttons in the lower row become a blue blob, that is impossible to read, when selected.
How about making the gray "invisible" part white (when selected), so there is more visual contrast.

I'd rather go for a slightly punchy background, like a darker, or slightly lighter, gray than that of the BG.

As long as the buttons are easy to read - both when pressed and unpressed, then I will be happy...

From me too! please please please make the buttons with higher contrasting buttons when in the on or activated position. Especially on a 4K monitor its a bit of a pain and the only way I muddle my way through it is either if I can actually remember what buttons are where (I'm getting old and my memory is too haha) or just start clicking buttons to find what I want.

OR give us the option to resize the buttons, which I think would help at the very least
