  • Time render element

    A good idea would be a thermal render element ( like the sample rate pass ) where it indicates the most time consuming pixels of the image

    Where red = most time spent
    Blue = least time spent

    That way we can know exactly which parts needs optimization of the image

    Or it could be done with things other than the thermal pass
    Whatever way makes the idea work

    Good idea as the SampleRate doesn't always correspond 1:1 to time.

      We already have something like this but it contains raw pixel times in milliseconds, not a heat map. It also works only with the bucket sampler for now.

        Ahhh, it's only in VrayNext. I'm still on 3.6 so I didn't see it. Another reason to upgrade.
