  • VrayPlane wishes

Hey Vlado, was working with vray plane and thought that adding a few features to it would be great.
1 - Vray plane on/off incase you quickly want to turn it off. (i know you can hide it but still)
    2 - support for displacement.
3 - vray plane is currently set to infinite. It would be very nice if:
    a) you could set vrayPlane range. For example start/end (infinite), start - 0 end 100, and etc.
    b) vray plane could have Void option, which would allow it to be cutout in areas specified by another object (kind of like boolean)
    Thanks.

what about a slice like option like there is with spheres, where like the sphere slice option the slice radiates from the center?

Not exaclty sure, but I don't think that plane really functions this way. I think the plane is actually not made of polygons but is a primitive. Therefore you can't treat them as polygons are think of them as interacting with polygons as you describe. So for your requests, all of them can easily be achieved with a standard polygon plane.
