  • UV Tiling attributes: LOCK ASPECT RATIO button to enable quick proportional changes (not having to change both U and V)

Often textures need to be resized, so a lot of testing for proper UV tiling size is necessary.

It would be great to have a simple "lock ratio" button – enabled by default – similar to the button in the render settings for changing the image size.

Almost always need to scale proportionally and only very seldom in special cases, you want to change the aspect ratio.

If there would be this button, you could just quickly drag the slider until it fits perfect,
instead of having this inconvenient workflow to type twice one value into the fields, then check the next value, etc.

Cool idea, I would like to see this too.
As a workaround, you could connect a bezier float controller to both U and V tiling to link them together, but the one-click solution would be better of course.

If it was that easy, it would have already been done

        Exactly...
you see it here in your own tutorials: https://youtu.be/tjDSC8pmoiY?t=56
imagine you need a very exact size, it takes ages to find the value

p.s. and if possible also have a look at the same in Maya

Unfortunately, this rollout is controlled and generated by 3ds Max, so there is nothing we can do. But you can ask the Autodesk guys

Sad to hear, that this is under the control of the Autodesk guys
They don't care very much when there aren't a lot voices.

A single person could solve all those small requests faster than this company.
