  • Interpolate glossy materials override.

I'd really love a global "Interpolate glossy materials" switch so we can disable it rather then have to source out which material(s) has the box ticked. Or even if VRay logged which materials it's interpolating when it posts how many have it enabled at level 4.

    Thanks!

Have a look under global switches.. there is a tick box for Glossy Effects. Right under the override material. Try unticking that and see if it does what you want.

I don't think he wants to turn off glossies entirely, he just wants to disable the "Use interpolation" checkbox that can be spread throughout the materials within a scene. I agree with this "wish" by the way. It would be a time saver.

The reason he came to ask for this was because he was rendering a scene with the override material used so all the materials were gray but it was still doing the interpolation passes. So in that instance he could have overcome it by unticking the Glossy Effects tick box.

But yeah, being able to turn it off globally during a render with normal materials could be kinda handy.
