I know that to do compositing correctly it's much easier to render objects against a completely black (0) or white (1) background, so the pre-multiplying works ok, but sometimes in Photoshop it's nice just to be able to open a render where the alpha is the sky, separate them and do slight tweaks.
Could we have that option on the dome light, as quite a lot of the time i use a HDR sky mapped to a dome light, and it's much more work to separate out the sky after i've rendered the image by then having to generate matte's etc.
