  • "Affect Alpha" for Dome Lights

I know that to do compositing correctly it's much easier to render objects against a completely black (0) or white (1) background, so the pre-multiplying works ok, but sometimes in Photoshop it's nice just to be able to open a render where the alpha is the sky, separate them and do slight tweaks.

Could we have that option on the dome light, as quite a lot of the time i use a HDR sky mapped to a dome light, and it's much more work to separate out the sky after i've rendered the image by then having to generate matte's etc.

    I second that.

I'd like that option for all Vray lights if possible, not just Dome.

      thanks.
