I am quite new to the forum but from the recent projects at Airbus I found that it would be great to have photometric units for the VrayLightMaterial as they already exist for the Max IES lights, the VRayLight and the Sun/Sky-System.
So I could have an arbritrary geometry of a light source and define values like candela, lumens, lux etc. I have the feeling that render times are lot faster with the lightmaterial compared to the VrayLight and it is easier to setup. In our cabins we typically have a lot of lights (sidewalls, bins, readinglights etc.).
Would like to hear of your thoughts about this.
Cheers
