  • Email image to clients straight from vray buffer

Only a small thing, but it would help out quite a lot for me. Im constantly doing low quality render previews and having to save an image then attach it to an email etc. Is it possible to have a function to email straight to a list of clients from your address book ?

I don't think I'll be emailing images directly from the frame buffer but I've noted before that I do end up saving a LOT of temp files only to bring them into photoshop to add to a ongoing image. With that in mind I've previously requested the ability to copy clip out of the frame buffer so I can directly paste it into photoshop. There's no reason you couldn't paste it into an email message though.

Yeah, something like that. Even the ability to drag and drop between the frame buffer and photoshop..

        PSD Manger

You should check out PSD Manager. it'll render to file your scene with all the layers separated. You can ad material ID's and it'll create a PSD with a group folder containing all your material ID masks.

Here is a script that might be close

It's not for all of the initial layers although PSD manager would help for that. It's more for all of the little tweaks along the way like when I do a region render on a changed window or some other small change. I've got to save out a full size image to fix one little element (I guess I could do a crop render), a copyclip would save on the disk space AND be a lot faster.

            History

Isnt' there a VFB history? I think there is, but there is a tweak to enable it. I use snagit, which would be one solution for you too.
