  • Output map in reflect

    Hello. Since sp2 version, output map in reflection channel does not affect at level of reflection more at 1.0
    Ex. I need to increase reflections without increasing IOR
    early, I could just put a output map to reflection and set RGB value to any value( more than 1) and reflection became brighter, now I can't do that.
    Please, return this nice thing!

    Maybe I can do now another way? If so, let me know

    Same thing at diffuse map.
    It seems, VrayMtl just clamp maps which has brightness value more than 1.0

      There is a hidden option for VRayMtl that you can set from MaxScript, it's called "option_clampTextures" and its default value is "true". If you set it to "false", you will be able to set the reflection color to more than pure white. However I don't recommend this, as the resulting material is not physically accurate and various issues can appear.
