  • Particles to VrayPRoxies (interactively)

I read the issue before in other threads, but would like to endorse the idea here again.

I am working on a project, where it simply would be magnificient to output certain particle events to distribute animated Proxies (without baking before, because I would like to animate the particles!).

Basically I am looking at the functionality of the IstanceGeometrie-Function of PFlow.

The opportunity to influence the proxies on a per-Frame basis would be magnificient: Birth, Growth, Dying, Switching from Proxy A to Proxy B, Offset Animation ...

    Regards, P Stulz

We discussed this idea with Oleg, and we can do it, but we need some more information from Particle Flow. Please let him know that you need it

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Oleg Bayborodin from Orbaz Technologies (http://www.orbaz.com/) is the original creator of Particle Flow for Autodesk; he writes various PFlow extensions (Box #1, Box #2 etc).

        Best regards,

          Done.

          Ok, understood.

          Just dropped him a little Christmas-Wishlist . (orbaz@orbaz.com, right?)

Would be awesome to see that coming!

Best regards and a nice weekend!

You can make pointcache files via mesher and outputting vrmesh per frame via script; or orbaz box#3 which has ability to save out cache files or if you are dealing you massive amount of particles, you are better off with krakatoa which renders much faster.
