  • "Override material effect" in VrayLightMtl

    It would be useful to be able to apply material ID's to vrayLightMtl textures. Currently this feature is only available in standard VrayMtls.

    If I want to seperate out selfilluminated materials from a multi-subobject material I have to physically break the meshes up to apply object ID's the traditional way. Unless I've overlooked another method available to me!

    Also it doesn't seem to be affected by colour mapping settings either - vray won't correct the gamma of a used texture map or colour value if the linear workflow button is checked.

      For light materials I have been using the traditional material ID method (save Mat IDs / Effect IDs 1-15 just for these special cases) and only using effect ID's above 16 for the Effect ID method...
