  • White Balance in VRayHDRI

Would be nice to correct the WB of a loaded HDRI directly in the VRayHDRI loader. This would allow us to render an HDR warmer or cooler without modifying the wole light setup in the scene. Also this could be coupled with a Hue offset like in lightroom.

Would be more an offset than an absolute value, since the HDR would come already with his assumed intrinsic value (daylight, sunset, overcast etc.)

You could pipe it through a color correction texture, no?

+1 I've often thought this would be a useful thing to have.

I'd settle for a white balance similar to the vrayphysicalcamera

I didn't think the max color correction texture worked with HDRIs? last time I checked it didnt anyway (although that might be a while ago!) The colorcorrect plugin used to work but I'd rather not install that again.

In this thread there seemed to be some possibility of a vraycolorcorrection .....

Originally the color correction texture didn't work for HDRI's but I think this was fixed in 3ds Max 2012.
