Sometimes to save calculation time on animations with no moving objects when we pre calc irmap and lc. we would turn off displacement for the pre calc and turn it back on for final render with very little noticeable difference (depending on the scene)
It would be handy for to be able to do the same for animations with moving objects (i.e. brute force light cache) to be able to have an option to turn of displacement for lc
