  • renderelement for objects

    hello all

I often have to make architectural images with people, but at best on a layer to disable the people if they are not wished by the client.
I always have to make two renderings. would it be possible to make a render element for that?
a kind of roll out to select some objects in the scene that are only visible on the render element but not in the scene (main rendering).
it's clear that the objects don't affect the scene (bleeding, lighting, etc) but that is not necessary I think.

it would make my life easier and would be a great new feature...

and how do you guys make images with variations (workflow)?
I often make images where some colors should be changed and other things.

    thanks and best regards

If its a minor colour change, like maybe 20% variation, I use a mask and just change it in photoshop. This can be problematic if you also see this object in a large reflection.
For people I usually render billboards, but yes if client decided he doesnt like one girl and she has to be removed (or moved a bit over to the left or right) then rerender that section.

Your idea of a seperate element sounds good! Maybe in the meantime somebody has some kind of workaround that doesnt require re-render or photo"chopping" people in?
    Kind Regards,
