  • Hard copy documentation

How come when you buy a piece of software these days, you don't get hard copy documentation of the product. As much as I love searching for info sometimes, it would be REALLY REALLY nice to pull a BOOK off the shelf, go to the index, page to the topic, and read about all the parameters. I'm getting tired of searching for info, going to a forums, then still not really getting a good answer.

WISH: PRINT A BOOK WITH (at least) EXPLANATIONS OF PARAMETER SETTINGS and maybe even some brief tutorials !

    Print is dead.

This very true for software and especially true Vray. The manual would be outdated and useless by the time you got it. help files are way more powerful, can be updated quickly and are easier to search for information. Did you very see the finalRender manual? Besides, it kills trees. On that subject the Vray help file is very outdated. But they working on a better one and every now and then they show us "previews" of it.
