  • VrayPhysicalCam settings transfer

Something i kinda miss when working with several physical cams in the same scene is the ability to copy/paste settings from one cam to another/all. Or somekind of lister where you could apply the setting of cam1 to all cams.

Not sure if this has been sugested before.

This has definitively been suggested before

Other suggestions would be to let VRayCam's be affected by VRay Exposure Control, so you can use one camera setting for all. I only recently discovered VRay Exposure Control and now I use it all the time with regular max cameras.

So, under Environment & Effects / Exposure Control, switch to VRay Exposure Control. Use the mode, 'From VRay Camera' and pick one of your physical cams to use the settings from. But now you'll need to replace all your other cameras with max cams to take advantage of this control.

    Hope that helps

there are a few different scripts that can help with this.

the parameter manager in soulburn scripts will do this.

Modifier Zorb - will give a list that you can quickly change.

You can copy and paste settings between cameras with V-Ray Camera Manager. It also lists all your cameras and settings
