  • VRayLight "Affect Reflection" spinner

It would be useful to have some kind of spinner for reflection as we have for diffuse and specular contribution, kind of making the light transparent?
    Software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    3ds Max 2016 SP4
    V-Ray Adv 3.60.04

    Hardware:
    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

Well, you can always make the light slightly transparent and increase the diffuse/specular contribution instead...

Can I do that via object visibility? or only via texture?
Anyways . would be really cool to have a spinner and in turn the diffuse and spec get increased or rather stay visually the same.
You see I often find myself in situatiuons when lighting reflective materials that I would LOVE to have that reflection control doing the same as specular.

Yes, will see what can be done about it... it's just that with so many hacks, the code becomes quite slow already...

        Best regards,

Alright - I thought it was actually better to have it coded directly in VRay - I wasn't aware that it would be hacky.
My simple-minded self was thinking "Meh, just slap a multiplier inside the code somewhere or maybe it's even there but not exposed" ^^

Hehe it's a bit more complicated. But like I said, will think about it.
