  • Vray instancer -control instance material id's

    Hi
    I'm making grass and vegetation with vray instancer and i want to make some color variations for grass.

    Can you make vrayinstancer control material id's with a texture map or get material id from particle material id option.

        In the meantime, maybe you can use a VRayMultiSubTex texture with the mode set to "Random by ParticleID".

            Yes, they will be more random. Anyways, I've logged this as a feature request, so we'll see.

              Also can there be a way to read out the Vertex color on particles and use them in the Materials of the instanced Objects?
