  • Autosave during progressive render

    Hi,

Is there any type of auto-save function already underway or maybe hidden?
I really would like to be able to send some overnight renders out that saves on the network every X minutes/passes.
My goes is : When my colleagues are getting in, they are able to use the render as far as he has been rendered till then.

+1 for this. Would've been usefull for the times it crashed during progressive.

Well, ideally there shouldn't be such cases

          Yes, indeed. But I don't think it's Vray related. 99% sure it's teamviewer's fault.

Well I haven't pinpointed the exact problem yet, I just blamed TV because it only happens after I used it. It doesn't happen all the time either. Maybe 20% of the times. Sometimes when I'm at home I'm checking my computer at work to see how the rendering is doing or start a new one,...when I click render, I wait untill he's done with the LC and started to render, when I check back an hour later or I arrive at my job (I closed the session, as I see no point in keeping the connection open) there's a possibility I'm presented with the crashed dialogue of windows. I haven't investigated it further though. I'm always using the latest version. (TV 11). The scenes aren't the problem because they never crash when I don't use TV.

                heum,
could it be a video issue introduced by TV?
are your video drivers up to date? Do you use a quadro or a geforce? or ATI?
have you installed the TV dedicated video drivers? (found in the advanced parameters of TV)

are your video drivers up to date? Do you use a quadro or a geforce? or ATI? They are now, they recently upgraded my windows 7 to windows 10, should check if it's ok now. I'm using a Quadro 5000.
have you installed the TV dedicated video drivers? (found in the advanced parameters of TV) No, is this necessary?
