At the office we have 3 Vray Licenses. 1 for 3dsmax, 1 for Rhino and 1 for SketchUp. My colleague today was showing the procedurals that are available for the ones in SketchUp and Rhino. And I was amazed by the possibilities and options of some of the procedurals (granite, marble, mayanoise,...) It would be nice to have these available in Max. I know you can make a VRMat in 3dsmax and the procedurals are there, but the interface is just really really really bad.
For instance I was fumbling around with the granite procedural and I wanted to put it in a Maxcomp but I couldn't because I had to replace the granite first, then put the comp in place and then remake the granite,..etc. I think you get the point. So I was wondering how much effort would it be to create these for native Vray-Max?
Thank you.
