  • Bloom and Glare during the render time

    hello

for me as a 3d artis A big part of realism is to see Bloom and Glare in the render time and not after the render is done

many engines support this option today

it will be GREAT to have a feedback of Bloom and Glare during the progressive mode with the option to turn it off and on

i think this little option will upgrade vray a lot

today vray Bloom and Glare is not good and feel heavy old and not corrected

i wish you can do something about that

    thanks! you doing great job

We are already looking into it and we'll get there at some point.

However I should note that for me personally this is the least important feature of a render engine.

    Best regards,

This has been talked before several times, especially in relation to Fstorm.
Glare and Bloom are not a very high priority for me, but none the less, they should be implemented and that comes together with a good tonemapping.
Even Corona has nailed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOGwsa6M7rI

That's not at render time though... And it's quite similar to the VFB lens effects already.

It has not worked correctly since SP1. Is there an ETA on when the bloom and glare mask will be fixed?

How many of these threads do we need? I think Vlado and team have gotten the message already.

Sorry to be a party pooper but I have a question on this one. We dont usually use VRay lens effects but need it for a project.

Is there any way to have the glare and bloom render elements render out without using the VFB as a saved setup via the Environment / Effects panel?
