  • Tooltips to display a lot longer on hover

I know this has been requested before (and quite a while ago), but I'd really like to see the tooltips hover for a lot longer - they appear for way too short an amount of time to be read in full

Yes, we can probably do something about it.

I really hope so Vlado - it's little 'niceties' like this that are an important part of the whole User Experience.

And much as I hate to say it (being a huge VRay fan), but if you look at Corona's implementation of this very thing, they seem to have gotten it right (another reason for why I am asking for this simple request).

      Thanks.

Actually, i've been trying out Corona 1.5, and i cannot read the tooltips because it dissappears so fast... But ye having them longer in vray would be nicely specially for new users.

Hate to mention it again but 'Cough' 1.5 allows you to change tooltips languages 'on the fly' to no less than 7 different ones.

They don't disappear at all for me, they just stay there for me to read (all the while my cursor rests on them)

What max are you using? I'm using 2015 for Corona and it dissappears after 3 seconds or so.

                      I use 2014 and 2017 - doesn't disappear in either.

                        Yup, hence my proposal
Even though I think it's really secondary ... I mean, English is THE CG language, isn't it ? people allergic to it should change job ... and yes, it's a french guy saying that :P

All of that info is in the docs too, and you can get there easily by clicking on the little '?' buttons in the rollouts.

                              Nope, not doing that either.
