I typically render to vrimg format - just went to check on my farm and for some one of the images that I'm rendering was back at the beginning. I looked at the file saved at is was something small like 13kb so the render had been overwritten. If there was a way for vray to create a new file each time then I would have my render.
Also it seems that the vrimg format no longer saves each bucket incrementally - which was one of the features that I thought was awesome. If your render needed to be cancelled for whatever reason you'd still have the majority of the render saved. Could it be due to using the denoiser? or Lens effects which are post processed?
