Beta builds and changelog

Any updates about the changelog and the V-Ray for Blender alpha builds will be posted here.

The latest alpha builds could be found on our nightly builds website. You need to log in with your Chaos account to be able to access them. The folders inside the website are organized by date (Year-Month-Date) so picking a build from the most recent date is recommended to ensure that you have the latest fixes and new features.

we've uploaded a new build that can be downloaded from the nightlies website.

Changelog:

• Installer: Install VC runtime as a shared component. This fixes problems with empty Cosmos Browser window and licensing dialogs.
• Fixed screen tear in the viewport when denoiser is enabled.

What you announced here means that it can be viewed by general users, right?

Or do users need separate permissions?

They should be opened for everyone who has a beta license. I'll check what is going on with the team, thanks for the report.

Sorry but I can't see the vrayblender7 folder.

Looks like it's in 2 places now. I'd imagine going forward that the bottom folder is the new home.2025-01-13_08-14-44.jpg

Thank you I'll check but I'm quite sure to remember that I can't see any Vray 7 folders... probably they have to add manually for everyone that take part of the alpha testing (that was on Vray 6)

Sometimes you need to logout and log back in to see the folder. This happens if we exposed the folder while you've been logged in and it needs to refresh.
