Blender works again as well as Envision. I don't really understand why the unified login service wasn't running but maybe my feedback is a bit useful if others have the same issue. It would at least be nice if Blender did the same check as Envision so you know it's not working because the Unified Login service isn't running.
Thanks for figuring this out! I opened a ticket to add checks that all essential Chaos services are running.

I'm having the same issue, even after following the steps above. I can confirm the processes noted are running on my system and are the correct version. Here's the console error:

I completely uninstalled all Chaos Group software and deleted any related folders (including those for V-ray and Blender 2.79c). After restarting my PC, I installed the latest version of V-ray, and now it's working correctly.

Looks like there might be something wrong with your V-Ray for Blender subscription. Could you check if you have indeed been assigned a V-Ray subscription?
          • go to https://my.chaos.com/ and login with your Chaos account
          • open Products > Active Products
          • look for V-Ray for Blender, beta subscription

Yep the subscription is showing in my Chaos account:

            image.png
But if I click Manage on the error message shown in Blender, it sends me to https://my.chaos.com/organization/li...#regular-login which then shows

            image.png

I just tried the suggestion above and uninstalled all the Chaos products from my system, then restarted. As well as starting Chaos License Server from the Windows start menu.

No change to the problem with any of it.

Are you using vray with Blender 4.3?

Run "Start Chaos License Server" from "Windows Start Menu", a browser tab will show up with "localhost:XXXXX".

Just hit activate, start or whataver it shows

                                It worked here
