    Yes, just use Blender's Hair.

      Hi Bdancer,testing a bit lightdome.
      It seems that currently the texturing for lightdome it's not working right,as it uses the standard UVWGenChannel plugin and not the UVWGenEnvironment for the texture.
      I know it's not finished(the mapping option are missing in the ui) but if you can export directly with the right uvwgenerator it could be easier doing IBL lighting(I think it's an useful feature from a production point of view,maybe with the mapping_type spherical as a lot of images have also the ground).

        thanks for the answer. i added a particle system and choose type ''hair''. i only see the fur width at the bottom.

        are all those settings inside?

          i only use lightdome, with hdri texture, to light my scenes at work. i try to get the same results by using the world settings, but its not the same.

          Would be nice if u can add this feature, thanks.

                      can we use both a bump and normal map in one material?

                      i tryed now and it didnt work. only normal or bump map workd. bot together it didnt.

                            d_boy, whats wrong with dome light? Use Hemi.
                            Currently no updates, if there will be some - it'll be posted in twitter =)

                                I've found a way to create realtime scene update for full VRayRT support, hope to find some time now to code it =)
