Yes, displaying textures in the viewport is a bit different in vrayblender.

4. Double click on this node and the texture should be displayed in the viewport (for the selected object).

This has not worked for ages. Before it also set node image to Image editor.

Hello! So I've found out that at home even though I have blender vray 278, it is a very early one (the one that still had "vray" and "vray with mat preview" options in the renderer selector), and that works fine with particle systems. But I can't download it anymore from nightlies, because the oldest version available is the 2017.05.02. one. Where can I download the earlier versions of vrayblender bdancer ?

I don't have a spare 300 euros for that right now. I've already bought Vray 2 once, which worked fine for me back then and would be still enough for my needs.

jzs, then you should keep in mind that we've discontinued support for V-Ray 2.x.

Ok thanks. I've found a vrayblender 2.73 installer in the depths of the server, installed it, works fine! I'll have to keep that installer as safe as a treasure from now on then
