I made a test scene with latest build.
Only objects with armature modifier are rendered.
And pose animation does not work when animation.

Hi!
I found that objects with subsurf modifier are crashing blender when "mesh export"
btw. multithreaded mesh export practicly makes whole process unnoticable - so maybe it can be the one button with render image ?

Works fine for me. May be svn bug.

You could use "Auto export meshes" option in Exporter panel (its grey color because cause blender crash sometimes).

ok. i dont want to take much of Your time but i prefer to ask beferore screwing somthing completly
how can i solve this?
if i correctly understand i can compile vb like it is described on wiki:

but does blender_update.py wilk work with osx?
if not should i go like that:

FB3000, osx is not yet supported in autobuild script, use this instructions http://github.com/bdancer/vb25-patch/wiki/Compilation on applying my patches manually.

In many cases, multithread mesh export works well.
But a specific scene does not work.
In this blend, a object is not updated when animation.

Is this a bug? or invalid data?

masak, yes, it's a bug (it's my stupid mesh animation detection - seems it fails too often). I'll update script and build tomorrow.

Hi,
two things i miss so far durring the work:
1. save/load render settings to file ( or maybe it is saved to some single file?)
2. dissappearing exporter content in tabs - this started since 2.55. It happens often after render is finished. - i know that You know but maybe info that it happens mostly after render will help.

1. Check Presets in Exporter tab - you could save and load presets there.
2. This is Blender problem, should be fixed soon.

FB3000, of course they are! You need to add Preset to use it! Add Preset then select it in menu.

Sorry i should be more precise - i mean save/load from file.
last print screen was from my second VB copy so it didnt had settings saved from first one vb.
Thats why "i was wondering how to move them".
After You post - I saw in first vb copy - appearing comment with path where are stored settings files.

its sometimes not so obvious from user point of view how its smth made if theres no manual.
- I can fe. collect some questions and put them into one FAQ thread.

btw. dont kill me i can add/delete but can't update those which I already have?

FB3000, don't worry I'm not going to kill anyone =) Just ill and nervous last week...
You could it update by saving with the same name.
Presets are located in "2.56/scripts/io/vb25/presets/render".

Hey bdancer, as fb3000 hinted at, we could help w/ documentation if you setup a wiki we can edit. I know you're busy, but maybe consider it for the task list. I really like mediawiki which also runs wikipedia.org. I'd like to be more active here and nurture this group. I've just been busy mastering a dvd and grading a short film.
