I am attempting to render an animation through distributed rendering over my employer's Windows network and pc's. It seems to go wrong when the slaves need to read the lightmaps.
What I did: Render Light Cache map and have it auto saved to the Shared directory set up in Distributed rendering. (I have tried this with a shared folder on my pc as well as with a folder on our server.) When I want to render the Irradiance map and the LC 'from file', it renders black. From the console I can see the textures are loaded correctly from the shared folder, but the lightmap fails to load on the slave (see screenshot). The slave reports an error loading light map as well (see bottom screenshot).
I allready save the lightmaps to a shared folder, and point to that at 'from file' for the LC. However I noted the textures are read on the slave by my pc name (C624) while the lightmap seems to keep pointing at the local folder. Any ideas?
