No rush, I'm just trying to figure this out before I am attempting this on a deadline

Hi Andybot,
Glad you're not on a deadline - I can't stand figuring these things out under pressure, but I do it too often!
I know its not an answer, but it clarified a few things for me:

You may have read through this, but it seems that Multiframe Incremental is the right option. Have you got a dummy scene (low poly) to test this with?

So I finally got multiframe incremental to work by starting with a scene that I was using for still images. It seems that if I choose any of the other irmap settings ("animation prepass" for example) something gets messed up with the settings, and if I change to any other irmap mode after that step, the interpolation is messed up somehow. Even if I try to change back to still image irmap presets, I am still getting a messed up irmap solution. I will try and put together a simple scene and hopefully I can demonstrate the errors I'd been running into.

hello guys
I opened another thread for the same problem, and then I found this ... sorry,,,
in the image I show you my settings. Can you tell me if there is something wrong ..(Step 3: I tried both with active and inactive.)
when it ends the calculation of IR and LC I make a fast test so I put ;
1 NONE
2 I remove the checkmark
3 I remove the checkmark
4 from file
5 from file
in all my tests I always find a ugly render
with blotches, artifacts and slightly black spots

Not sure you need to enable "Produce GI Only" for lights, you loose all direct illumination.

I'm with Andrei on that, but you also said you were having the same result when this option was disabled?
Can you post a simple scene that reproduces this? I can't seem to get the same thing on my end.

For update feature to work you'll need to install git (https://github.com/bdancer/vb30/wiki).
Have you tried "Brute Force"? It's quite fast in V-Ray 3.x.

exporter now works .thanks
with brute force I did a test (not animation) on another scene lighter only in order to compare render times
IR + LC 1.14 min ok
BF + LC 1.24 min (bad result and longer time. -8 subdivision)
BF + LC 1,41 min (a little better than before-16 subdivision)
IR + BF 1.55 min ok
I really do not understand why with vray can not create animations with camera movements ....
I tried so many options .... grrrr

Could you send me your scene? I'll try to find out the issue.

I realized that I had changed too many parameters so I opened a new blender project and imported all the objects .
I reset all the lighting and simplified the scene.
now I think that animation is good, without blotches or strange colors.
if I still have problems I'll be happy to give you the file ...
thanks of the support
