Any features not supported by the vray standalone version? Otherwise i don't see the need for additional commandline nodes. Wondering how the standalone interprets cinema specific elements, eg mograph animations?

Currently anything that is supported for rendering inside Cinema 4D should work with Standalone, so if something doesn't work inside Cinema it shouldn't work with Standalone as well.

It depends on the animation. Geometry and instance animations with mograph are usually directly translated and baked keyed frames. This doesn't really impacts V-Ray standalone in any way since it only sees geometry and animated transformations for each object. Shaders and especially the effects shaders that cannot be backed for animations are a bit tricky and here it really depends id if the specific shader (Mograph or another one) is supported by V-Ray or not.

Let me know if this answers your question.
