Hi Wohnraumdesign, we made some fixes regarding the relative path names used in v-ray objects (including VRayBitmap). Since this was the main problem for the black previews - I suggest trying the latest stable nightly build if it works for you (nightlies/stable).

I just tested the latest nightly build from 20210312
Version 30654 but nothing has changed, the objects still remain black?

Can you give an example scene with the asset and material you are trying to save in the Content Browser, so we can investigate further? Also it would be helpful to know the exact version of Cinema 4D you are testing this on?

It seems that you're dragging the whole group (null) object to save as preset which is another case that isn't handled correctly and needs to be fixed. deyan.hadzhiev I've added this for fixing.
Wohnraumdesign as far as I understand this is what is causing the issue. Can you please confirm this?
