Licence error.

After upgrading to the July 8 version, the license for C4Ds24 does not work.
On r23 c4d hangs whenever vray mat is created.
Before update I used r23 and s24 alternately and there was no problem.

Okay, now I'm worried.
After upgrading to the July 8 version, everything broke. Vray is not working. On s24 it shows license error, and on r23 it hangs when trying to render material. I can't work anyway.
I have the recommended 471.11 graphics driver.
I uninstalled the 8th July version, installed the official 5.1 release, but the problem remains.
Please help.

Hi Makushimu, the problem to both issues (hanging of the material and the license error) are related to the missing UI license. Can you check if your license settings are OK and the license server is actually running, and there are free UI licenses for V-Ray for Cinema 4D?

I have tried turning the license server off and on several times with no results. Only after your answer, after a few more tries, it worked.
I am only surprised because I have had problems with the license server several times, but never because of installing a newer version of vray.
I think of activating the offline license. Could this help in the future in such situations?

Makushimu - there might have been a problem with the connection between your local license server and the global license server. Installing different versions of V-Ray will not change or fix problems with license server connection.

haniel1107 - the 8th july version includes an improvement for rendering alembic files. I'll see why that was not reflected in the generated changelog.
