Dear Vray,

Absolutely awesome that Cosmos is about for C4D.

Though I don't get it to work. When I click on download, nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Hey everyone,
The cosmos browser comes bundled with the V-Ray for Cinema 4D installer. If you're using zip installations of V-Ray not the regular ones, then you need to download the cosmos browser separately. Please refer to our documentation page for Chaos Cosmos or the V-Ray zip installations, where you will find information on how to install the Chaos Cosmos browser.

Just downloaded and installed, used the installer. Unfortunately, when I try to download any item, the information appears that there is no access to the download directory.

Did you set a download folder.
I had the same, after setting a download folder it worked.




Try a new folder… I had problems with permissions…

Yes probably it's the permissions, I've only installed on MacOS and the system asked access to the folder. It should be the same for Windows, I'll try that tomorrow on a PC.

I cannot seem to sign in... installed the latest vray 1.2 + cosmos seperately.

Hey MichaelLammens,

Have you tried uninstalling and installing back the Chaos Cosmos Browser?
Did you have a previous Cosmos installation (i.e. from another host-app)?

Best would be to forward us the cb.log file located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos so we can check for any errors printed. You can send it via our contact form, just make sure to mention this thread (or my name) in the form subject. Much appreciated!
