  • Cosmos library doen't load assets across multiple licenses

    Hi there.

In my company we have four licenses in 4 different computers/users.

Because we work collaboratively, one scene might be started by one user but at some point in time, someone on a different computer will continue to work on that file.
All the assets from Cosmos that I load in the first moment, don't apear. Be it a model of a person or tree.

This happens with similar computers running the same software version (OSX + C4D + Vray + Cosmos) and with the same assets preloaded/downloaded in each machine.

Is there a fix for this or a different working method we need to adjust to?

    Thanks for you help,
    Pedro

    Hello pedro_sousa,

Are you using a network location for the Cosmos assets?

If not, please try setting the same network location on all machines and see if that will help. You can check this article for more information.

You can check this page for more information on how to configure the asset download directory and this page with information on how to move your existing assets.

Let me know if that helps.

looks like this matter is far from solved.
As I'm sharing a dropbox folder for cosmos, each user will have a different path because of their respective usernames.
Any ideas how this can be solved?
It seems - have to test it again - materials work this way, but objects and HDRI's don't load...

          Thanks for your help
