Cinema 4d Crash after vray render stopped or finished

Hi!

Lately I've been having a strange issue with vray. Sometimes, for no apparent reason - when i stop vray rendering either in the picture viewer or the vfb c4d simply crashes. No pop-up no nothing it just closes. The other option is that vray finishes with the render and then crashes the whole scene
I used s25 and vray 5.20.04

Upon testing, I managed to reproduce this crash and I have reported it to our developers (ID: VC4D-1350). I will let you know once we have any updates.

The scene won't crash if the geometry tag is applied to the Subdivision surface object. Please check this screenshot.

Thank you for the update! I went a bit further on with this testing and it looks like the displacement issues i had been posting about and c4d crashing are connected.

Please note that the crash was recently fixed by our developers and the fix is available in our latest stable build. You can download it and install it from here. Please give it a go and let us know if you experience any issues. Thank you.
