  • Texture Mapping on extrude-nurb doesn´t work with GPU

    Mapping on Extrudenurbs is always UVW when I render on GPU. No matter what kind of mapping I choose or what scale I use. When I convert the objekt and erase the UVW tag it works.

      Hi Muhammed,

      just a standard rectangle in the extrude with standard height. Put material with texture on it, change to quadric mapping for example and change the size. When I render with CPU everthing is fine with GPU always UVW mapping with standard size is rendered.

          Hey, Dirk,

          Thank you for the feedback and report. I want to offer you two workarounds that work with procedural geometry and are available within the latest official build.

          1/ Use V-Ray Bitmap texture and control the texture via mapping tag
          2/ Use Projection shader with texture map, which has more controls.

          Of course, I understand that is more work, and I hope this behavior won't be a bottleneck in your workflow. Please let me know if something is not correct.

            Our developers have fixed this bug and the fix is now available in the latest stable build.
