Can VRay hair or C4d hair have a color transition between the tip and end of the hair as shown in the picture

Now the gradient of the material doesn't seem to do that

With V-Ray 6 beta that we announced yesterday, we've introduced the VRayHairSampler shader that you can attach and use with the V-Ray Hair Next material and would allow you to colorize your hair the same way as in the picture and if you wish you can even give it a random color for each strand based on a gradient ramp for example.
