    Hello 123456_

Please, be aware that we do not support the Preserve functions.

Would let us know in what scenarios you would find them useful?

This is useful when studying scene light and shadow. With this feature, I can also render images without material textures, while retaining material effects such as bumps and glass

Thank you for letting me know, 123456_ I have informed the team.

As a workflow, you can render while retaining the glass materials by using the Include/Exclude space.

This functions would be really useful as there is no shader or bitmap level "solo" in vray for c4d. TBH when doing complex shaders a "solo" function (in 3ds max it's IPR Debug Shading mode) combined with the material override options would make this an absolute powerhouse to build, refine materials and accurately light scenes with.

              Hello viktor_angelov

Thank you for considering! Just to clarify my post a bit. The option to have sub-property level material override is a great power tool, but In my opinion the debug shading option (to view shaders, shader groups or multiple nodes combined) for the vfb could alleviate a lot of the need for this. this kind of "solo" mode (sry i cal it this, bat in c4d terminology and other render engines this is the name) would make it easier to accurately setup shaders or bitmaps.
