Dear Chaos-Team,
after some trial and error, I am still having problems saving a 16bit TIFF via the VFB. Is this even possible at the moment or have I just not found the right way yet?
At the moment I only have the option of exporting in 16bit via the Vray Output System, although of course I can't decide "by sight" whether an image is qualitatively finished or not, but have to wait for the image sampler or the render time to finish. "Abort Rendering" is not the same as "Finish Rendering"...
I have tried to change all formats to 16bit in Common>vray image output, but both as png and as tiff only 8bit is saved. In jpg additionally only a bad compression with many artifacts. OpenEXR is only output with 32bit.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
