Hello qingyuan_pang The vrscene is optimized in a way that the final result, when imported and turned into an editable, is triangles. I have exported multiple objects from May, Max and Cinema and you can see that it works the same everywhere.

Hello qingyuan_pang Thank you for reaching out to us!

Does it happen with every vrscene you import or just this one?
What Cinema 4D version and V-Ray build are you using?
Where is the vrscene exported from?

As far as I know this is true in all versions, I exported from 3dsmax

Hello qingyuan_pang I wanted to let you know that you can transform the Triangles to Quads through Cinema 4D. Simply be in Polygon mode, select the object from the Objects menu but make sure to not select any polygons.
Then do Right Click > Untriangulate. You would need to adjust the settings, mainly the angles. For example, for your vrscene I found an Angle of 10 works best: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/sc...0_11-45-54.mp4

qingyuan_pang We have discussed the matter with the team and we have logged this into our system [VC4D-2239] We will look into the opportunity to implement it in the future.
