It seems that there is no way to prevent the color from changing. The main problem I want to solve is, for example, when I create an indoor scene in Ace mode and then apply an outdoor texture outside the window, I don't want the outdoor texture to change color.

so are you using any textures with acescg colours? any acescg colour inputs at all? maybe rendering in acescg is simply not something you need?

I am using RGB texture without color input from aces. To be honest, I am just asking if there is a way to achieve the effect I need. Redshift can achieve the effect I need. I still think we should use ocio nodes to solve this problem, but I don't know how to do it

              .

is your outdoor texture a HDR image or just a jpeg photo?

It's just a flat surface with a luminous material pasted with a JPG texture for outdoor scenes

                  there you go.
are you converting this texture properly to be used as a source for a light emission? light expects linear input. in your case it would be most likely reversed display transform to linear BT709 (srgb) or ACEScg (depending on your rendering space).

otherwise you are stuck with two display transforms - one in vray and one from the photo you used. it would never look ok.

Can you send an engineering file with no color change? I really don't know how to handle it to achieve that effect

Hi piotrus3333 Could you please edit the link you sent? Atm i think both are added to the corona tone mapping link atm.

This method is be also a use case for creating camera projections,

I think just the fact that there wasnt a solution to this simple problem, says a lot about how many people feel about colour management, and aces in general. If you dont have a tech support who knows this stuff at your studio, its all very opaque and confusing. I feel like how I use aces gets results I want, but I have no idea if how I use it is correct or not.

which issue are you referring to? OP mentioned more than one.
